The Politics of Friendship on Facebook

Maybe I'm old school, or maybe (though highly unlikely) I'm future-proof, but I honestly don't get the whole "Politics of Friendship" that often goes on, on Facebook. It just confuses me how people can easily add random people to their lists, not knowing a sausage about them, and as of such baring all of their life to the world. Don't they realise the danger in adding people that they don't know? Actually scrap that, cause I'm pretty sure I know the answer, and that answer is simply they don't think. After all these are the very same people who regularly enjoy 'deleting' those they do know and then six whole months later re-adding the same person with an excuse of "oh I accidentally...", yeah right, like deleting someone could be an accident in this day in age- you actually have to click around 3 times to delete a person and around 4 times or so to block a person, basically these people are an absolutely wonderful example of ass-talkers, that's right they talk out of their backside...Ironically you'd be surprised by the amount of times people believe that bull-poop. Usually it's people like me who don't usually delete anybody- because it's pointless (if I don't want you on my friend's list I'm not going to accept you and if I don't want you to see my posts no more ta-ta and welcome to acquaintances option). If you wondering how I even learnt how much effort goes into deleting someone- let's just say I used a willing test subject to see how "easy" it was to remove someone and let me say, too much effort!!!

Why do people even do it? I personally have no 100% clue but I can safely assume it is probably a combination of the thrill of control- the acting of god whom has control over all, jealousy, immaturity or lastly disagreement, which in itself is I guess an act caused by immaturity and loss of control.

Rambles

Frankly I don't really write on here anymore, just when I want to rant anonymously per se, or so it seems.

I'm on anti-anxiety medication these days which does help but at times I still feel like I have done before.

I still don't exist on my college peers radar- or rather I do just they rather wish I didn't exist- judging by the actions they make around me it sometimes seems it's not that I don't exist on their radar but rather than they are more...jealous. Unfortunately, I happen to be a pupil who often get's top marks in class- even though myt attendance isn't fab- and to them I guess they are irked because it might seem like I'm not even trying- which is far from true. I regularly do my course work during evenings or any free time I have- something I am guessing most of my peers do not do- hell they don't really do a lot in college- most of the time they are mucking about whilst I'm sitting there busily tapping away at my work- which is probably why I am always the first in class to finish- everytime. In fact the majority either hand in late or haven't at all yet- so why am I surprised?? Ironically these are the kind of people in my class whom like to lie- yes lie- that they are the best in class with fab grades- yet amusingly they only state certain topics whilst brushing the others over with a brush- as it is the two most arrogant in the class- well- they think they are the best purely on equipment alone- like- a L series Lens or a "pro" camera makes all the difference- whatever happened to meanings?

Talking of the two arrogants- well let's just say that's partially the reason for me updating- this person is always right- even when they aren't and refuse to take no for any answer. In one breath they seem to more than happy that an image of there's is circling on the net on wallpaper websites etc, and yet they got irked at a pro photography for "stealing there image"- even though said image in question whilst the idea is the same it's not identical and has been done by thousands before- the fact that the person in question kept with the it's my image even though seasons, lights, composition of the building etc were different I'll never know- well Delirious is one word I could describe them as. Me also pointing this fact out irked them, and they got so antsy in there pantsy that they deleted me so I couldn't comment anymore- ironically I think being an ex-journo student does make me more knowledgeable on copyright and theft and what does and doesn't constitute. Anyway, kinda made me laugh as person in question was still ranting about this at college even saying I was in cahoots with the pro, I have never seen any of the person's in questions work before. It just irks me that people like that are so god-damn narrow minded they won't allow free speech if it goes against what they are saying- mind you if they continue this in years to come- well let's just say I foresee them getting sued for slander, just because a reverse image search tells you it's the same it's not looking at anything but the image and if your taking a well-known building it's more than likely to pop up- like if you do product photography...

Anyway I guess it is kind of amusing as potentially if I stay on and they do too, then well they'll have to put up with me for another 2 whole years- hooray for that...
